Moving to a new country might be difficult if you don’t know the language jet. And although almost all Latvians speak at least one foreign language, it would be easier for you to get around if you could speak a bit of Latvian.
So today we will look at phases of how to find your way in Latvia—a few phrases on how to ask for help.
"Vai jūs varat man pateikt ceļu uz centrālo staciju?"
"Can you tell me the way to the central station?"
"Kur atrodas tuvākais pārtikas veikals?"
"Where is the closest grocery shop?"
"Kā no šejienes nokļūt līdz vecpilsētai?"
“How do I get to the old town from here?"
"Vai jūs zināt, kā nokļūt līdz lidostai?"
"Do you know how to get to the airport?"
"Kur ir autobusa pietura?"
"Where is the bus stop?"
"Vai jūs varat man parādīt ceļu uz auditoriju'?"
"Can you show me the way to the lecture hall?"
