Happy International Day of Education! ✨ Today, we come together to celebrate the power of learning, the pursuit of knowledge, and the impact education has on shaping our future.
In 2018, the General Assembly of the United Nations adopted a resolution proclaiming January 24th as the International Day of Education/ Ziua Internationalã a Educatiei, in celebration of the role of education in peace and development.
Today I want to take the opportunity to thank you, on behalf of the OLS team, for learning constantly and improving your language learning skills, as education is not only a fundamental human right but a responsibility for all of us.
Here is a portion of a statement the European Commission released: "We will notably continue working so that every child and young person can access education, no matter who they are or where they live."
