Haluz (noun)

Haluz is something fun, funny, interesting or something silly, bizarre. 

Example: 

Ten koncert, to bola riadna haluz. EN: That concert, that was really crazy.

Neboj, len si robím haluz. EN: Don't worry, I'm just kidding.

Mega (adjective)

It’s used to express that something is great, awesome, or impressive. 

Example:

Aké to bolo? Bolo to mega! EN: How was it? It was mega!

Tieto cestoviny boli mega dobré! EN: This pasta was mega good!

Stretko (noun)

A slang form for a meeting, meetup. Derived from the word stretnutie.

Example: 

Nedáme tento týždeň nejaké stretko? EN: How about a meetup this week? 

Počko (noun)

Weather, derived from the word počasie. 

Example: 

Aké má byť dnes počko? EN: What's the weather supposed to be like today?

Dofča (noun)

Holiday, derived from the word dovolenka.

Example:

Kam plánuješ ísť tento rok na dofču? EN: Where are you planning to go on holiday this year

Reštika (noun)

Restaurant, derived from the word reštaurácia. 

Example:

Vieš mi odporučiť nejakú dobrú reštiku? EN: Can you recommend me a good restaurant?

Sprcháč (noun)

Shower gel, derived from the word sprchový gél.

Example:

Zabudla som si sprcháč. Môžem použiť tvoj? EN: I forgot my shower gel. Can I use yours?

Podprda (noun)

Bra, derived from the word podprsenka.

Example: 

Potrebujem si kúpiť novú podprdu. EN: I need to buy a new bra.

Nestíhačky (noun)

A term used for being busy, experiencing time pressure, or running late. It’s derived from the verb nestíhať.

Example:

Dnes večer nemôžem prísť, mám strašné nestíhačky. EN: I can't come tonight, I'm terribly busy.

Pikoška (noun)

A term used for interesting, hot news, titbits. It’s derived from the word pikantéria.

Example:
