Yes, it is Valentine’s Day Too, but that’s not the point. 

14^th of February is the International Book Giving Day. A global initiative to encourage reading. So are you giving away a book today? Or are you in need of some good recommendations? 

Here are two Norwegian best sellers recently translated to English:

• "Out Stealing Horses" by Per Petterson - A poignant and introspective novel about memory, loss, and the bond between fathers and sons, set in rural Norway.
• "The History of Bees" by Maja Lunde - A thought-provoking and intergenerational novel that weaves together the stories of three characters connected by their relationship with bees and the environment.
