Exploring Social Circles: Where Do You Meet Peers?

As young individuals, we often seek spaces to socialize, connect, and build friendships outside our academic or professional environments. These social spaces facilitate interaction and contribute to developing our social skills, cultural awareness, and personal networks.

  • By initiating this topic we would like to open a thread and invite you to share with the others here, how and where do you meet new faces? How do you socialize during your Erasmus experience?
  • Are there specific locations or settings that you gravitate towards?
  • How have advancements in technology and social media platforms reshaped the landscape of youth socialization and hangout spots?
  • What are some of the challenges or barriers young people face in finding suitable places to hang out and socialize?
  • Do you think the place (the capital or any other town in North Macedonia) has enough spots, public spaces or hubs reserved for young people to socialize?

Engage with your peers and share your experiences and perspectives on the diverse array of social spaces where young people gather, reflecting on the significance of these spaces in shaping our social interactions and relationships.

Living abroad might feel lonely sometimes and by contributing to this discussion topic you might be helping someone to easily fit and navigate in this experience.
