Conjugating Danish Verbs: Daily Activities 

This week, I thought it would be interesting to look at how to conjugate common verbs related to daily activities. Do these in your personal notebook or write in the comment section below, and let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy! 

Instructions: 

  1. Read the example conjugation for the verb, Læse (to read).

  1. Complete the exercises by conjugating the given verbs in the present tense. 

  1. Practice forming sentences using these conjugated verbs.  

Conjugation Example: 

1. Læse (to read) 

  • Jeg læser 

  • Du læser 

  • Han/Hun/Det læser 

  • Vi læser 

  • I læser 

  • De læser 

Conjugation Exercise: 

1. At drikke (to drink) 

Conjugate the verb "at drikke" in the present tense:

2. At gå (to walk) 

Conjugate the verb "at gå" in the present tense:

3. At skrive (to write) 

Conjugate the verb "at skrive" in the present tense:

Conjugate the verb "at se" in the present tense:

Example Sentences: 

  1. Læse: 

  • Jeg læser en bog hver aften. 

  • Vi læser avisen om morgenen. 

  1. Spise: 

  • Du spiser frokost klokken tolv. 

  • De spiser middag sammen. 

  1. Arbejde: 

  • Han arbejder på kontoret. 

  • Vi arbejder på et projekt. 

  1. Drikke: 

  • Jeg drikker kaffe om morgenen. 

  • I drikker te om eftermiddagen. 

  1. : 

  • Hun går en tur i parken. 

  • Vi går til skole hver dag. 

  1. Skrive: 

  • Du skriver en e-mail. 

  • De skriver i deres dagbøger. 

  1. Se: 

  • Jeg ser fjernsyn om aftenen. 

  • Vi ser en film i weekenden.
