I´ll start with my favorite word:
⭕ Ljósmóðir (Midwife). The word is put together from two words, Ljós (light) and móðir (mother), or mother of light and I find it truly beautiful as midwives truly are mothers of light as they help babies to be born into this world.
And now it is your turn, what is your favorite Icelandic word any why ?
