Today, we celebrate the International Day of Friendship, which is a great occasion to cherish and enjoy time with each other, especially in our Erasmus community. Having the opportunity to meet other people from different countries helps us to be more thoughtful and empathetic, and thanks to that we can form friendships with no boundaries.
Friendships are often formed in a unique way, during situations which we don't usually expect, or at places we wouldn't even imagine we find ourselves in. However, these kinds of unexpected new meetings which form new friendships can last a lifetime and are very precious, because a true friendship doesn't happen overnight, nor you find real and loyal friends on every corner.
The best memories are often shared with other people, whether they are about overcoming hardships together or just enjoying life to the fullest.
As we celebrate the International Day of Friendship, let's honor the true friendships we have made and look forward to creating new and lasting ones in the future.
