WHAT IS OLS SLOVAK?
OLS Slovak is not only a platform for courses and language assessment, but it is mainly a place where you can interact and form a community among people like you. You will have opportunity to read blogs about various topics which are related to you and your stay, engage in several discussion forums where you can practice your language skills and interact with me and others.
HOW TO GET STARTED?
First of all, you are invited to take the language assessment to determine your level of Slovak. Once completed, the course which is the most suitable for you (A1, A2 )will be recommended on your Dashboard. You can explore additional didactic materials by using the Curriculum tab, which is located on the landing page, right under the language assessment.
ENGAGE IN THE FORUMS
This community has 3 main forums where you can read, share your ideas and experiences, interact with me and with other mobility participants, and above all practise your language skills. These main forums are:
While the community manager (Ahoj, that's me :-) ) is here to keep the discussions going and facilitate participation, feel free to create your own threads and discuss whichever subject interests you. After all, the more discussions and ideas about living in Slovakia are on the platform, the more useful content there will be for all of us.READ OUR BLOG POSTS
We publish articles about living in Slovakia and language-learning on regular basis. The blogs are available in OLS BLOG section, which is located within the Interactions category, just below the forums.
