Spanish Learning Community and Resources

No invitation is necessary to take the test. Here are the steps your students should follow to take the assessment:

1. Go to the Dashboard.
2. Click on "Spanish Learning Community and Resources."
   
3. Scroll down to find it in the Spotlight section. Click on "Placement Test."
   
4. On the next screen, under the photo, click on the yellow bar with the word "Enrol."

All mobility participants are free to take the Spanish Assessment whenever they wish and as many times as they would like.

My students are not on OLS

If your students are not yet registered with the new platform, you only need to send the ready-made email you should have received from your Erasmus+ National Agency to invite them to OLS. They can then complete their language assessments and embark on their online language learning journey.

This simplified process has been made available in order to ensure business continuity for OLS users. The new OLS platform is being continually upgraded, including the beneficiary roles (a.k.a. learning managers) that will allow you to directly invite and monitor your mobility participants, so be sure to check back in from time to time! New content is currently being added, and a range of reporting and dashboard tools will be available soon.

I haven’t received the ready-made email

If you haven’t received the email invitation to join with the instructions; please contact your National Agency to inquire. Here is the link from the EU website.

In the meantime, if needed, kindly ask your students to follow these steps to join the new OLS and take the language assessment:

1. Click on the following link: https://academy.europa.eu/courses/learn-a-new-language/
2. Click on "Join the Community" in the banner on the right. You’ll need to create an EU Login Account to join EU Academy (if you don’t have one already).
3. Go to the bottom of the page and select which language you would like to learn/assess. 
4. Click on "Join community/Resume" in the banner on the right.
5. Now you can access the language assessment at the bottom in the Spotlight section.
6. On the next screen, under the photo, click the yellow bar with the word "Enrol."
7. Once you’ve finished the language assessment, click on the "Print this page" button at the top right of your result's page to save a PDF with your result.
