Talking about our feelings is important, and having the right words makes it easier. Emotions like "happy" or "sad" are just the basics—there’s a whole range of feelings we experience, and different words help us describe them more accurately.
Different languages have their own special words for emotions, too. In Croatian, for instance, "sjeta" describes a feeling of wistful longing or nostalgia—something that’s not always easy to express in just one word in English.
Knowing more words for emotions helps us understand our feelings better and communicate them to others. When we can say exactly how we feel, it can make a big difference in our relationships and our own emotional health.
On this basic vocabulary, you can see the basic emotions, so now we are interesting how are you feeling today. In Croatian language you can ask:
Kako si? (How are you?) and you would respond --------------------- sam (I am....)
