This weekend, the 14th and 15th of September we celebrate the European Heritage Days. The initiative was launched by the Council of Europe in 1985.
It is a wonderful occasion to talk about the value of our common heritage. Of course, by heritage, we understand both the tangible and intangible - not only buildings and archaeological sites but also literature, arts, performing arts, traditions and languages.
During the Heritage Open Days, you can enjoy free visits to many monuments and learn more about our shared heritage.
