Hello Everyone!

This weekend marks the European Heritage Days, a celebration of cultural diversity and history across Europe. Since 1985, this event has given millions of people the opportunity to explore historical landmarks, cultural sites, and traditions, many of which are usually closed to the public.

In Denmark, Kulturarvsdage (Cultural Heritage Days) is part of this celebration. Many of Denmark's iconic buildings and hidden gems open their doors, offering a glimpse into the country’s rich history and culture. From castles and manor houses to historical city tours and art exhibitions, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

This is your chance to explore Denmark's unique heritage! Whether it’s visiting Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen, learning about the Viking history at Jelling, or discovering the architecture of Aarhus' Old Town, the weekend promises a variety of events across the country.

European Heritage Days not only help to preserve Europe’s shared heritage but also foster cultural understanding. It’s a wonderful way to connect with Danish history and the local community, while also broadening your knowledge of Europe’s collective cultural legacy.

Check out events happening near you, and immerse yourself in Denmark’s rich historical and cultural traditions!

Happy European Heritage Days!
