Dear community,

The 10th of October is World Mental Health Day, which is an international day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Mental health is extremely important while you are volunteering or doing an exchange abroad, but of course not only then! Mental health is important every day and you can catch little glimpses of mental health support all around Estonia beyond October 10th. For example, a local non-profit has put up stickers and posters in public places, which offer simple mindfulness activities. Let us know if you've spotted these! Most importantly, remember you can always turn to your community and friends for help, and you as a valued community member can also always be the support someone else is looking for.

More about the image: As part of the Year of Young People 2018, the Scottish Government and See Me, the national programme to tackle mental health stigma and discrimination, are working alongside young people to create a new campaign for 8-26 year olds.

Take care and happy World Mental Health Day!
