Dear Croatian community,

Living abroad as an exchange student brings exciting new experiences each day! Here's what a typical day looked like for me when I was an exchange student in Madrid, Spain years ago:

Mornings usually started with breakfast featuring local flavours, followed by metro ride to university. Classes were an interesting mix—I was constantly learning about new subjects and getting used to the different teaching style in Spain. Group projects often mean collaborating with local students, which was a great way to improve my Spanish language skills.

After the classes, I grabbed lunch at a café with friends, trying new dishes while chatting about everything from local traditions to pop culture. In the afternoon, I usually meet up with locals to explore the city’s places. Evenings were relaxed, either dinners or hanging out at parties with other exchange students.

Every day felt like a blend of learning and adventure, filled with opportunities to dive deeper into the Spanish way of life and culture.

I'm eager to know what is it like for you in Croatia, and what does your typical day look like? :)
