Ahoj, komunita!

With the growing popularity of online courses, students today have more flexibility than ever in how they choose to learn. The convenience of studying from anywhere, at your own pace, contrasts with the structured environment and face-to-face interaction offered by traditional classroom settings. Both have their unique benefits, especially when you are living and studying abroad.

As Erasmus students, many of you have been exposed to a variety of educational systems, teaching styles, and cultural perspectives. These experiences can influence how you approach learning, whether it’s online or in-person. Some may find that online courses offer a level of freedom that fits perfectly with the Erasmus lifestyle, while others value the social and interactive aspects of classroom learning, especially in a new country.

Reflecting on your time abroad and previous learning experiences, you may have discovered which methods work best for language learning, staying motivated, or building connections. While online learning provides flexibility, in-person classes often foster deeper engagement with teachers and fellow students.Of course, this can also lead to new friendship and interesting experiences :)

So, based on your Erasmus journey, which do you prefer more—online courses or in-person learning? Let me and the others know in the comments below!
