Hello Everyone!

This week, we celebrated International Students Day—a day to honour the experiences and resilience of students living and studying abroad. As international students in Denmark, you’re not just learning a new language and culture; you’re also building a life in a new country!

One way to settle into Danish culture is by embracing hygge—the art of creating coziness and comfort. Whether it’s sharing a home-cooked meal with friends, exploring a candlelit café, or bundling up for a winter walk, hygge can help you feel grounded and connected in your new environment.

How have you embraced hygge while living in Denmark? Have you found it helps with homesickness or making new connections? Share your experiences, tips, or even photos of your favorite cozy spots!

Let’s celebrate the diversity and creativity of international students by sharing how we each create our own version of hygge while living abroad. I look forward to reading your reply in the comment section below this discussion topic.
