Do you know we have only 2 weeks left to submit your video to the #OLSCommunityStories contest?
How to participate:
1) Create a video from 1 to 3 minutes including the following elements:
Introduce yourself to the OLS community members: start your video by saying your name, where you are from, where you spent, are spending, or will spend your mobility, and which OLS language learning community you are part of. You are also encouraged to tell us a bit about how useful OLS is or has been for you and to include evidence of your use of OLS ( screenshot, live small demo, etc. ).
Choose one of the following topics:
- Proverbs and sayings: tell us a proverb or a saying in the language you are learning, why you like it, and how it may be similar or very different from the ones in other languages you know.
- Slang, oral, or regional expressions: have you found out that locals speak differently concerning what you had learned in books? Tell us about expressions you discovered only thanks to your mobility experience.
- The day when it all started: do you remember the magic sparkle that made you take the plunge and start speaking/reading/writing in a new language, although you were still feeling insecure? Was it a friend you met, a book you wanted so much to read or a course you had to take? Tell us all about it and share the details about that special moment.
2) Read carefully the rules, then fill in the participation form, and submit your video.
