Mini Contest: Practise your Dutch and win

Dear Dutch learning community,

I hope you are all well.

Last week I posted about our mini contest to keep your language learning journey playful and fun. With this mini contest, you have the chance to win a €50 Gift Voucher to buy books or e-books on this website. However, last week I mentioned a different task.

So how do you participate?

  1. Send in your submission by writing a caption related to the image below in the comment section. The image is related to the topic of climate change .

  1. Make sure to write your caption in Dutch.

  1. The caption needs to describe the situation in the photo in one sentence (this can be up to 30 words).

  2. The deadline for submissions is 28 February 2025

Please note:

  • You can only submit a maximum of one comment

  • There will be ONE winner

Terwijl een zonnestraal streelt wat eens vertrouwd was, gaat verandering verder, waarbij de aarde wordt uitgekleed en alleen de kale stenen overblijven als sporen van haar doorgang.

Een ijsbeer, maar geen sneeuw! Het is als een vis zonder het water! Het probleem lijkt zo ver weg, maar het ligt zo dichtbij. Wat moet er nog meer gebeuren?

Sie sagen, das Letzte, was verloren, ist die Hoffnung. Als we dit willen herhalen, kijk dan eens naar onze Gletscher, onze Ozeane en onze Eisbären. Het is notoir dat er geen informatie over is. :)

Hi Juan, thanks for your submission. However, this is a mix of German and Dutch so unfortunately not eligible.
