On this special day, we highlight the importance of preserving linguistic diversity and promoting the right to learn in one's mother tongue. Research shows that students who are taught in a language they fully understand demonstrate improved comprehension, engagement, and critical thinking skills. By supporting multilingual education, particularly for minority and indigenous languages, we contribute to more inclusive and equitable societies.
