On the 8th of March every year, we celebrate International Women's Day. I shared with you portraits of some Polish women HERE and HERE who made an impact on our history and culture and are admired both in Poland and worldwide. This year, I decided to share with you portraits of Polish literature heroines HERE - female characters from Polish books who, despite the fact that they are fictional, can still serve as an inspiration. I would like to ask you to share with me the female characters from books in your language that you believe should be known and celebrated and who could serve as role models for all of us.
