Spring is finally here, and that hopefully means more sunshine soon, but also festivals, and outdoor adventures in Hungary! Let's make learning Hungarian fun by collecting the most used spring-related words and phrases together.
Here are a few to start with:
- tavasz – spring
- rügy – bud (on a tree)
- madárcsicsergés – birdsong
- húsvét – Easter
- tojásfestés – egg painting
- kirándulás – hiking/trip
- tavaszi fáradtság – spring fatigue (yes, it's a thing in Hungary!)
