Much like in the rest of the world, 1st of April is fools day in Norway.
Aprils fools translates to “aprilsnarr”. Normally the newspapers will post fake news to test their audience, and your friends or colleagues will try to convince you to believe in something that sounds a bit off.
The classic prank in Norway is when parents wake their children and tell them there is a moose outside the window - no matter if they live in the forrest or in the middle of the city.
