Daylight Savings – Love It or Hate It?

Hello Everyone

During the weekend, on March 31, Denmark moved the clocks forward by one hour for daylight savings time (sommertid). This means longer evenings with more sunlight—but also one less hour of sleep!

For some, and for me, the extra daylight is a welcome change, bringing more time to enjoy the outdoors. For others, adjusting to the time shift can be difficult, affecting sleep, productivity, or daily routines.

Discussion Questions:

  • How does daylight savings time affect your daily routine? Do you notice a difference in your energy levels?

  • Does your home country also observe daylight savings? If so, how does it compare to Denmark?

  • Do you think daylight savings time is still necessary, or should it be abolished?

  • What are your best tips for adjusting to the time change?

Let’s share our experiences and strategies for making the most of the time shift! I look forward to reading your answers in the comment section below.
