Hello Everyone
Last week we talked about spring and I gave you some introductory exercises to practice this vocabulary. This week, I would like to continue with spring and how you can shift the vocabulary into sentences expressing feelings about spring in Denmark.
1) My Spring Day ("Min forårsdag")
Here I would like for you to practice forming simple sentences in Danish using basic verbs and sentence structure.
Instructions:
Below are five simple sentence prompts about spring with missing words. Fill in the blanks with the correct verb or phrase.
Then, write one short sentence of your own about what you like to do in spring.
Fill in the blanks:
(Fill in with the correct verb: (elsker, er, ser, spiser, går)
Det ______ forår nu. (It is spring now.)
Jeg ______ i parken, når solen skinner. (I ___ in the park when the sun is shining.)
Vi ______ blomster i haven. (We ___ flowers in the garden.)
Han ______ at drikke kold lemonade. (He ___ drinking cold lemonade.)
Om foråret ______ jeg jordbær og is. (In spring, I ___ strawberries and ice cream.)
Your turn:
Write one simple sentence about what you like to do in spring.
My Example:
"Om foråret cykler jeg ved stranden." (In spring, I cycle by the beach.)
2) What Do You See? ("Hvad ser du?")
Here I would like for you to practice making simple sentences using "Der er" (There is/There are) and describing a spring scene in the photo below.
Instructions:
Look at the image below (if it doesn't appear, you can just describe any spring scene you see every day).
Write three simple sentences in Danish using "Der er..." to describe what you see.
Example: "Der er en sol." (There is a sun.)

I look forward to seeing your responses in the comment section below or in a private message to me. Please let me know if you need any help. Happy Learning!
