Labas everyone!

Spending summer in Lithuania? Even if the weather isn't exactly giving Mediterranean vibes this year, it’s still a great time to try something new — like growing a few herbs or veggies right on your balcony. A couple of tomato plants, some basil, or at least dill for your pink soup masterpiece can make your space feel more alive (and a little tastier).

I usually grow a few habanero and moruga pepper plants every summer (spicy food is life, right?). But this year… let’s just say they’re crying a river and dreaming of the Caribbean. :D

What about you? Do you have any plans to start a mini garden? Even one lonely pot of parsley counts! Share your ideas, photos, or just your dreams of becoming a part-time balcony farmer.

Also, if you're heading to a house appliances store to hunt down flower pots, watering cans or window boxes, knowing a few key Lithuanian words can really help. Check out the short A2 course "My beautiful garden" to learn useful phrases for shopping and chatting about everyday things like home, hobbies, and garden goals.
