Dear language learners,

You may have already lived abroad, or perhaps you've thought about it, or you might even be living abroad right now! Living abroad, through an Erasmus+ programme, for instance, can be an incredibly enriching experience, but have you ever truly considered what it could bring you?

In 'Learning English through the news', there's a 'mobility and employment' quiz where you can read excerpts from the 'Erasmus Impact Study'. Here you'll learn about the impact an experience like Erasmus can have on your career prospects. For example, did you know Erasmus+ students gain up to a whopping 42% more confidence, problem-solving skills, and flexibility? Curious to learn more? Enroll HERE and take the "mobility and employment" quiz

Your Living Abroad Experience:
Once you've taken the quiz, I'd love for you to share your thoughts :-)

  • Have you experienced how living abroad has enriched your life? If so, in what way?
  • Has your mobility experience tangibly improved your career prospects? What does that look like?
  • And finally, for those of you currently abroad, how do you think your international experience is shaping your life and career prospects?

I encourage you to share your experience and connect with others in the community!

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi Elisa! That does sound like a very exciting journey you are about to embark on! When will your project in Finland start?

If you're been to practise your spoken English with our community of internationals, you're welcome to join our upcoming speaking session this Thursday on 17 July at 15:00 PM (CET)! We don't necessarily practise 'business English', but it may be nice to get some more experience with speaking English under your belt :-)

If you want to join us, you can sign up via the following link: https://academy.europa.eu/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=37905
