Hey you!
Yes, you — the one scrolling and silently wondering what to do in upcoming days. We’ve got plans for you. Three of them, actually.
1. Friday, July 25 – Jaunas kaip Vilnius Festival, Vilnius
Celebrate Vilnius’s 702nd birthday in style at Vingis Park. This free open-air festival kicks off at noon and blends classical and pop music, youth conversations, creative workshops, and sustainability-focused activities. The vibe? Think blanket-on-the-grass meets opera meets food trucks.

2. Saturday, July 26 – Kaunas Aviation Festival
At S. Darius & S. Girėnas Aerodrome, expect more than just planes taking off. Witness daredevil stunts by Jurgis Kairys, historic aircraft like the DC‑3 in action, and even a live concert by Paulina Paukštaitė. Oh, and it’s also free.
3. Tuesday, July 29 – Lithuanian Language Online Meet-up
Back online but still in great company? Join our casual Lithuanian language meet-up — whether you're just starting out or already chatting confidently.
Time: 4 PM CET / 5 PM Vilnius time
Where: Online
Duration: 1 hour
We have 10 spots available, so if you haven't signed up yet, let me know in the forum comments.
Hosted by me, Karolina, OLS Community Manager, who promises zero grammar shame and plenty of friendly vibes.
No pressure, but… what if you made this weekend a little more joyful? Step outside, look up, listen in, join the fun — and make your summer actually feel like summer.
See you out there (and online)!
Truly Yours,
Karolina, OLS Community Manager – Lithuanian
