Hej Allesammen,
In this exercise, you'll practice how to talk about your future plans using the structure “skal + infinitive”. You will match people with their summer plans and then write or speak about your own in the comment section below this exercise. Let´s get started.
Fremtid med skal + infinitiv. Talking about the future with “skal” + verb (infinitive)
When we talk about future plans in Danish, we often use "skal + infinitive" (will/going to + verb).
Eksempler:
I sommer skal jeg rejse til Spanien. (This summer I will travel to Spain.)
Hun skal arbejde hele juli. (She is going to work all of July.)
Vi skal besøge vores bedsteforældre. (We are going to visit our grandparents.)
1) Hvem skal hvad? Who is doing what?
Match each person with their summer holiday plans.
Personer:
Sara
Jonas
Mette og Emil
Amir
Louise
Peter og Anna
Planer:
A. skal besøge deres bedsteforældre i Jylland
B. skal arbejde på en café i København
C. skal på festival med vennerne
D. skal til Norge og vandre i fjeldene
E. skal lære at svømme
F. skal rejse til Italien med deres forældre
Write full sentences using "skal + infinitive"
Example: Sara skal til Norge og vandre i fjeldene.
2) Skriv og del dine egne planer. Write and share your own plans
Write 3–5 short sentences about your summer holiday plans.
Use the structure:
"I sommer skal jeg..." (This summer I’m going to...)
Eksempler:
I sommer skal jeg besøge min familie i Frankrig.
Jeg skal arbejde i juli og slappe af i august.
Jeg skal tage på stranden hver weekend.
