Imagine: you’ve just moved to a new place. Everything feels exciting and a bit unfamiliar. Which shops should you know? Where do you buy your bread, and where’s that cozy little bookshop around the corner?

In the module “This is my neighbourhood / Ik ontdek de wijk” from My Dutch Course A1, you’ll learn exactly that! Step by step you will practice how to:
- Describe a neighbourhood
- Ask and talk about shops and places in town
- Follow a short story (“Next to the bookshop”)
- Challenge yourself with a fun quiz

The best part: you’ll learn words and sentences you can use right away in daily life. Dutch learning becomes not only useful, but also fun and relatable!

Ready for a little adventure? Dive into the module This is my neighbourhood” and get to know your surroundings, in Dutch!

Question for you: What’s your favourite spot in your neighbourhood and how would you describe it in Dutch? Mine is definitely the small coffee shop that also sell organic produce and local art. I mean... does it truly get better than that?
