How are you? – Como estás?
I’m good thank you, and you? – Estou bem, obrigado/a, e tu?
Goodbye – Adeus
Bye – Tchau
See you later – Vejo-te mais tarde!
Please – Por favor
Thank you – Obrigado / Obrigada
(Use obrigado if you’re a man, and obrigada if you’re a woman)
Yes – Sim
No – Não
