Dear English community,

I'm delighted to invite you to the first English speaking session of 2026! In our speaking sessions you can practise speaking English with our friendly and encouraging group of OLS community members. This month’s  speaking session will take place on:

>>> Tuesday 20 January at 3 pm CET, so register here today and mark your calendar!

About the event:
The goal of the session is to practise our English-speaking skills and get to know other members of the English community. We will also practise everyday speaking by delving into topics like discussing our language learning, sustainability, travel, and even philosophy. During the session you’ll also learn how you can make the most of your time with OLS.

How to participate:
If you want to participate, please let us know in the comments section below, and we will reserve a place for you. There are only 15 (to a maximum of 20)  spots available in the session, so we kindly ask you to let us know in advance that you will join. Please also let us know what your level of English is, so we can create creative activities that suit your needs! Also, if you participated last time and enjoyed the speaking sessions, you are welcome to join again this time!

Hi, Marieke! Have a great year 2026!
I would like to let you know that unfortunately, on 20th January I will be on the road. I'm traveling from my hometown towards the location of the Centre of International Relations of my university, which is in a different city, in order to sign the papers for the Erasmus+ certifcate, since next month I will depart towards Albania, as I've mentioned during our last online conversation. As for your question regarding connecting with Erasmus+ participants, the speaking session is a great place to connect to people in real-time, many of which are or have been Erasmus+ participants.
