International Volunteer Day takes place every year on December 5. It is an opportunity to celebrate and thank people all over the world who dedicate their precious time and efforts to voluntary service!

Now you must be thinking..., is it possible to do volunteering in Portugal during your Erasmus+ Program? YES, it is!
- Talk to your University almost all of them have Volunteer Programs with many associations!
- Talk to your ESN section, they usually do a lot of events related to Social Impact and Volunteering. It's an awesome way to get started and get to know some associations!
Did you know that you can Volunteer abroad with an Erasmus+ Grant?
YES, the name is EVS (European Voluntary Service)! With EVS you can volunteer abroad for up to 12 months, AND you will receive a travel allowance, pocket money, and insurance during your volunteering service.
