Information about living in Piran? What to do, what to see, what to know?
Re: Piran, Portorož
Ioannis, so nice to hear from you!
You can find everything you need on Piran here. It is indeed a beautiful historical
Mediterranean town with Venice influence, so we recommend a walk through the streets of the
old town & spending some time off at Tartini square with the view!
Also, there is very expensive to go into the town by car, so the cars are left
outside the town, and a free bus is available to Tartini square and back all
day, even if you don't have a car. Piran to Portorož is a beautiful half-hour
walk by the coastline for ice
cream!
Sečovlje Salina Nature Park is a must - you can stroll by the salt pans with
borrowed bicycles. You can find much more, have fun!
Language usage hint
