For those who are not sure what to do for New Year’s Eve, here are some suggestions :
You could ski at night in the French Alps, with a guide. It is called a Descente au flambeau. Speaking of snow, you could also spend the night in an igloo in the Pyrenees.
In the article 5 Things You Should Know Before Starting Your Mobility to France, I mentioned the Châteaux de la Loire, a region full of castles which is part of UNESCO’s Heritage List. The castle’s gardens are open on the 31st of December and truly look magical.
Or, if you’re feeling less adventurous, your can simply have a dinner or a party with your friends. That’s what French people usually do :)
