Hello Everyone!

During the weekend many of you might have been celebrating carnival, but in Denmark we celebrate Fastelavn. Traditionally, people go on a type of fast for lent, giving up on chocolates or meats or any type of food or drink, so Fastelavn is a great opportunity to enjoy those treats for the last time before lent. During Fastelavn, we generally will dress up and go to a party and enjoy "Fastelavn's boller" which is a delicious pastry filled with cream topped with icing sugar. A very heavy dessert but it really is a must have on this day.

I hope you enjoyed the weekend of Carnival or "Fastelavn". Let us know how you celebrate in the forum discussion!
