Tips for Working with EU Academy Portal

Hello to the community,


to help you improve or personalize your user experience with OLS, here are a few quick tips:


Set Preferences and Notifications in Your Profile

By clicking on your name in the yellow bar, you can get to your profile settings. You can change the platform language (for example to a language you are learning) and adjust your preferences and notifications in a way that suits you the best. If you need help with choosing the best option, click on the question mark in the blue circle that gives more details about your options. 


Easy Access to Certificates 

In your profile section, you can also easily access all your certificates from tests under “My certificates”


Dashboard 

Unfortunately, right now it is not possible to remove a course or a community from your dashboard or see your favourite ones at the top of the dashboard. For the fastest access to where you want to get, type the name of the course or the community in the search bar in the yellow bar on the top of the screen.


Direct Messages

The EU Academy portal allows you to send private messages or create group conversations. So for example, if you have an issue that you want to discuss with a community manager outside of forums, you can write them a private message. To reach a user by message, you need to type their entire user name (e.g. Andrea (OLS Community Manager) in the search bar in “Messages section”.
