Do you want to walk the Red Carpet? Learn about the European Film Challenge

European Film Challenge is an innovative platform that connects the largest community of European film lovers and affirms European cinematography.
European Film Challenge is the community of European film lovers eager to experience the cinema from the forefront through behind-the-scenes content, get film recommendations, and have exclusive access to European films and festivals - Berlinale, Cannes Film Festival, and Venice Film Festival.

European Film Challenge
The idea is for participants to get involved in the challenge of registering at https://europeanfilmchallenge.eu and in 10 weeks to watch 10 or more European films in cinemas, within the local film festivals, on television, or any legal streaming platform (VOD).
If you want to visit some of the TOP-A film festivals in Europe, get a ticket, accommodation, cost covers, and a seat in the first rows, you should share your experience by taking a photo of your cinema ticket, or take a photo of the big screen at a festival venue or simply of the coziness of you movie night at home. The photos are supposed to be shared on social media under the hashtag #Europeanfilmchallenge, and that’s how you are becoming a potential winner in the challenge.
The slogan of this community is: Give the leading role to the audience and the audience will become the leader.
Sounds interesting? Right?
Here are the rules to review if you seriously consider participating:
You should submit only European films.
There isn’t one database in which you can find a list of all European movies, but you can use the EUROPA CINEMAS database EACEA database The Movie Database (TMDb) the Internet Movie Database (IMDb) to check if a movie is European.
Every user competing for the first prize must upload a total of 10 European films before the end of the competition.
You are allowed to replace any uploaded film with a new one. However, this function will be disabled 10 days before the end of the contest. You should be aware that if a film is deleted, the points received for that film will be lost.
There are no restrictions on a film release date. Films are considered eligible for the contest if they originate from a country that is a current EU member state or participant in the Creative Europe MEDIA program, even if the country was not an EU member or participant in the Creative MEDIA program at the time the film was produced.
The overall idea is to share on social media that you are watching a European film. Upload a picture, add the hashtag #europeanfilmchallenge, and indicate the name of a movie and the place where you watched it. Pictures shared in this way are accepted in the contest.
The scoring system works in this way: for a European movie you can get 4 points and for each different platform used to watch a film – 3 points
You have a chance to collect extra points during the contest period. Follow the social media channels of the European Film Challenge to get information on extra points.

See you at the Red Carpet!
