In this session, you will gain insights from an individual VC or angel investor who will share their personal approach and experience in gender-focused investing. You will learn why gender-conscious investing is important to them and the actions they take as an individual investor to identify and support women founders. They will discuss whether they invest alone or in a syndicate, and explain their personal investment thesis — whether it focuses on 100% women-led teams, mixed-gender teams, or specific sectors or regions. You will also discover how they identify and evaluate deals involving women-led teams, and how they directly support women founders post-investment. Finally, they will offer valuable insights and advice for others seeking to adopt a more gender-conscious approach to their investing.
