Adopting Emerging Technologies in Education
Course details
Emerging technology is a term generally used to describe a new technology, but it may also refer to the continuing development of an existing technology; it can have slightly different meaning when used in different areas, such as media, business, science, or education.
Through this short course we will explore new emerging technologies that will affect our teaching and learning methods as teachers in terms of school curriculum and their integration within eTwinning projects to personalize, differentiate and adapt the learning process to each individual in more efficient and effective ways.
The objectives are process-oriented and are not only restricted to teaching and learning methodologies and theories, but also provide in-depth assistance in the development of teachers’ skill building, professional development and the vision of emerging technologies and their reflections on shaping future education.
