With this e-learning module, RAN aims to help you build, implement and evaluate effective alternative and counter narratives based on the EU RAN GAMMMA+ model. This model is not a quick fix to complex challenges, but helps you ask the necessary and the hard questions. Furthermore, we will share lessons learned and practical “how to” recommendations to increase awareness, to avoid common mistakes and to support them in their efforts to build effective communication.

Target audience

Civil society organisations and government actors that are dealing with, or have an interest in, designing, implementing, evaluating or funding alternative and counter narratives projects or activities (strategic communication).

  • To provide a practical resource by sharing lessons learned and practical “how to” recommendations to increase awareness 
  • To avoid common mistakes when building products/campaigns 
  • To support the target group in their efforts to build effective products/campaigns
