This e-Capsule covers Regulation (EU) 2015/848 and Regulation (EU) 2021/2260 concerning cross-border insolvency proceedings. It provides an overview of the key rules on jurisdiction, recognition, and coordination in insolvency cases involving multiple Member States.

Target audience

This e-Capsule is designed to provide justice professionals, particularly judges, prosecutors, court and prosecutor's office staff, lawyers and bailiffs, as well as other insolvency practitioners, with a comprehensive understanding of cross-border insolvency in the context of European Union (EU) law.

Learning objectives

By the end of the e-Capsule you should be able to:
