This course is designed to empower eTwinning ambassadors with the tools and knowledge to effectively incorporate key principles of European citizenship and values into their eTwinning training activities. As Europe becomes increasingly interconnected, it is vital for educators to foster an understanding of common values such as democracy, equality, and human rights among students.
Through this course, you will explore innovative strategies and best practices to inspire other eTwinning teachers to work on projects that empower their students to become active, informed, and engaged citizens of Europe.

- Discover ideas on how to guide teachers in discovering the way eTwinning can promote citizenship and European values by exchanging ideas about activities that encourage active participation and civic engagement within the classroom.
- Evaluate and enhance your own understanding and teaching practices related to citizenship and European values, thereby improving your effectiveness in training teachers.
- Explore ideas on how to help young people become more engaged in defending European values and actively participate in their communities on matters ranging from the local to the European and international levels.
- Provide teachers with strategies to equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to exercise their rights fully, engage in political processes, and participate in the political sphere while respecting the autonomy of others and adhering to established rules of political engagement.
