The MOOC analyses the main phases of the design of a Smart Specialisation Strategy while considering the specificity of each territory. The MOOC includes 7 modules aimed at disseminating the guidance and methodological approach, as well as  practical examples, lessons and experiences from the Enlargement and Neighbouring region. The MOOC draws from the extensive work done by the Joint Research Centre in the promotion of the Smart Specialisation Framework for the Enlargement and Neighbourhood Region. 

Target audience

The primary target audience includes Policy makers (EU, national and local levels), innovation stakeholders, practitioners and consultants, students in the innovation related fields. 

Learning objectives

The learner will learn how to design, implement and monitor Smart Specialisation Strategies.
