Dear community,
On March 8th it was International Women's Day, but the celebration of women didn't stop there this month. It also the month where we learn about Women's History, which a tradition that we're lending from the US. And here on the OLS Community we're specifically learning about 5 women of Dutch history that have made a big difference in their lives.
In the new blog called 'Get To Know These 5 Women of Dutch History', we introduce you to Hannie Schaft, Corry Tendeloo, Aletta Jacobs, Corrie ten Boom, and Anna Maria van Schurman. You can find the blog via this link: https://academy.europa.eu/mod/page/view.php?id=19140&forceview=1
Once you've read the article, please. come back to this post so we can discuss. For instance, which of these women's stories had the most impact on you? And why? And can you tell me about an inspiring woman of history from your country of origin? And, if you liked this article, let me know if you'd like to read a 'part 2', so we can dig into the lives of even more impactful women.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
Warmly,
