Are you looking for a way to contribute to the work of the United Nations? Are you 27 years old or older? Did you study, have 3 years of work experience, or are passionate about the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature loss, and pollution and waste?
If so, the United Nations Environment Programme, in partnership with United Nations Volunteers, just announced their new call for young talent to apply to their 2023 Young Talent Pipeline.
The Opportunity
UNEP & UNV are searching for their first cohort of young, passionate, and skilled talent from less-represented regions of the world to join the organization and become tomorrow’s environmental leaders.
As a volunteer, you will have a stipend to help with your day-to-day costs of living – including transport fare to and from your assignment.
Important Dates
Applications are now open for 12 new international UN Volunteer specialist assignments. The deadline is 15 May 2023. The assignments begin in September or October 2023 and last for about 12 months.
Where Will You Volunteer?
UNEP’s headquarters are based in Nairobi, Kenya.
