graduate in cap and gown leaping with joy

Today's announcement centers around graduation so I thought it would be cool to learn about the different graduation traditions from you, our community members.

A Quick Look at The United States

In the United States, even our youngest students graduate from school with adorable ceremonies. To celebrate these milestones, the children wear caps and gowns - just like their older counterparts who are leaving high school or university.

At graduation ceremonies, each graduate's name is called to go up to the stage and receive their diploma.

To celebrate their achievements, there are end-of-the-year school parties as well as private parties with family and friends.

So, what about you? Take us through your experience as a graduate in your country.

I believe that in all the countries in Europe in America in Asia and certain African countries to mark the end of the studies ca occurs such as presented above. In my country of origin Cameroon, it generally happens like this in kindergarten, when our little ones who go there to enter primary school, they wear gowns, and even things when they leave primary school for college.

When you finish at college, there are no ceremonies. You just celebrate your baccalaureate.

It's a bit like that with us in Cameroon.

Very interesting to know, Oriel! Thank you so much for sharing with us the Cameroonian graduation traditions.

One of my favorite things in the world is to see little children wearing graduation costumes and moving on to the next level of their education. :)

In France, we have no ceremonies to celebrate the graduation in general . But I know that some French schools try to do like Americans. In my middle school, the students wear caps and they receive their diplomas from the headmaster, who turn the pompon for all of them. At the end of the ceremony, they throw their caps.
