End of September announcement

It is time to hit the monthly recap of our glorious Forum history! What happened? What was discussed? Where did we all go… no wait! What?

Hello You, our new exchange student! You are now in Finland! Please talk to us, share your experiences. If there are any questions about your new country, we are here to help. Head over to New country and new challenges. Also, do not forget to take your ➣ Finnish placement test, to know where you should start your learning journey.

There has been a lot of news from the European Union and Erasmus! Let’s take a look.

The European Commission is working hard on raising awareness on sustainable urban mobility. That is why ➣ EuropeanMOBILITYweek promotes behavioral change in favor of active mobility, public transport, and other clean, intelligent transport solutions.

Following the success of the Year of Languages, the Council of Europe declared a ➣ European Day of Languages to be celebrated on 26th of September each year. And speaking of languages, on ➣ International Translation Day, let's cheer for the language champs who keep the world spinning smoothly! They're the real heroes of global understanding.

Finally, ➣ Erasmus+ 2021-27 interim evaluation & Erasmus+ 2014-20 final evaluation aims to collect information, expertise and views from all interested parties in order to reach an evidence-based and measured judgement on how well the programme has performed.

In the blog, we have an interesting article about polyglots. A polyglot is someone who can speak multiple languages fluently. So here is ➣ Bilingual, multilingual, polyglot. And to continue on that topic, here is our first forum post in Finnish. Please read ➣ Kielitaito on ovi uuteen kulttuuriin.

That’s all folks! Please feel free to to write to our forums, start new topics or send me a private message if you have any questions related to the functionality of the forums or your language learning journey.

See you on the forums!
