Hola todos,

as there are some people going to la Comunitat Valenciana I thought why not share our experiences and tips in a seperate topic.

Any place you can recommend for a visit?
Anything we should definitely try as well?
Maybe we can also meet up somewhere if we are not to far apart. :)

I'm staying in Alicante and will definitely visit Valenica.

Hola Selina,
I just finished my Erasmus experience in Valencia and I loved living in that beautiful city that is Valencia, really!! I didn’t want to go home, but I had to.
My advice is to try "horchata", a typical fresh drink made from chufa, a tuber of those areas. I liked it so much that I drank every time I went to the center of Valencia!! Traditionally, you have to drink the "horchata" and eat the "fartons" together.
Also, since you are interested in visiting the Comunitat Valenciana, you can visit some inland villages, such as Xativa, or villages on the coast, such as Peniscola (I really recommend Xativa! From Valencia are 45 minutes by train).
I hope you will enjoy your time in Alicante and in Comunitat Valenciana :)

Hola Giada,
thanks for the advice! I will definitely try horchata con fartons as soon as I'm in Valencia.
Today I visited Benidorm, a city on the coast, because it is easily reachable by the Tram from Alicante. But I will definitely try to visit Xativa, depending on the train connections from Alicante :)
