I wish you a very warm welcome to the Portuguese Learning Community! If you’ve scrolled through the forums and the blog OLS Blog you will find a lot of learning material, fun discussion topics, and in-depth articles. But what you may not know is, that I Juliane am the one who is creating all of this. So, I thought it was high-time I introduce myself properly you!
✎ Initially, I tried to make a video, however, it didn't go as expected, so here's plan B, a picture with a little bit of me, just for you! I want to introduce myself and let you know a bit more about the person behind the OLS Portuguese Community :) So here it goes...

My name is Juliane, with an "E" at the end, which can sometimes confuse many people, as the more common name in Portugal is "Juliana." So, the easiest way I usually introduce myself is as "JU".✌ I am 24 years old and originally from Lisbon, the beautiful capital. But since 2015, I have been living in Porto!
I have a dog named Yugui (you can see him in the picture), he is the dearest creature in the world. I graduated in 2017 in Marketing Management in Porto, and currently, I am in the last year of my Master’s.
➡️ My connection with the Erasmus+ programme and OLS
In 2019, I had my first Erasmus+ mobility in Lithuania, Vilnius, and it was an incredible experience. Since then, I haven't stopped, I love the international environment, getting to know new cultures, new people, and understanding that we are all connected! I have been a volunteer at Erasmus Student Network Porto from 2019 to 2023. So, you can see that I love this environment and enjoy helping you with anything you need! Learning and sharing more about Portugal and the Portuguese language with you has been amazing, and I hope to share that enthusiasm with the content in the Portuguese community ✨
➡️ Some interesting (or not) facts about me:
I love karaoke (but can't sing), I love the concept of eating tapas, I try to see the sunset whenever possible, and have a rule that every place I visit, I must always experience the sunset. I love traveling and reading mystery books.
